Ralph Fiennes is a great actor at playing very strong and complex characters and he seems to choose the most creepy and controversial roles. For example Heathcliff, Lord Voldemort and the character he played in Schindlers List. Amazing actor! I'm glad they picked him for Voldemort.

He played the part perfectly. Although I pride myself as being one heck of a Voldemort (because my sister and I read the harry potter books aloud together-- it is just so much more fun that way) I believe he stole my imaginary Voldemort crown (but then again, I crowned myself, so that doesn't mean anything...) A bit off-topic: I have yet to see him in Wuthering Heights.. I really should; I love that book.

Who do you think are going to be the main characters that are going to die? I have a feeling that Ginny is going to be dead by the end. What’s your option?

I am pretty confident it's not going to be Harry. Maybe Hermi or Ron? That will certainly be dramatic.

I'm thinking Ron. There's an awful lot about how he's such a loyal friend and all that, and to me that spells a sort of sacrificial death.

maybe a death of a close friend will give harry the anger he needs to kill voldemort.

I think some minor character from the first or second book is suddenly going to reappear and be very important.

Hmmmmm, that seems likely. Also, what about people we've only heard of, never met? People like Aberforth Dumbledore, and of course Regulus Black (although I guess he's probably dead).

Speaking of Aberforth, I hear he's the barman in the Hog's Head - the one who reminds Harry of someone he knows, and smells faintly of goats. Interesting little detail - found it on the internet.

Wow. I'd like to know who figured that out (or just decided it!). Also, can anybody remember where it is that we hear about Aberforth in the books?

In the fourth book on pg 394, in my edition at least, in "Rita Skeeter's Scoop", Dumbledore comforts Hagrid by talking about his brother. I'm not sure where else, besides in the 5th book, in the Hog's Head.

He's also mentioned when Sirius shows Harry the old photo of the Order, and points out Abforth.
